RCI Dance Fitness

RCI Dance Fitness Class started in March 2019. This class focus on stretching the muscle and spine, correcting the incorrect posture, and strengthening body coordination ability through basic dance moves.  Mrs. Lu, the class instructor and a retired professional dancer, also coached the class on how to present the Chinese traditional dress, Qipao, in a proper way.  This program received very positive feedback from the students, and soon Mrs. Lu opened another three similar classes in Oakville and Mississauga which were not run by RCI. Within a short 1 year, RCI Dance Fitness Group collaborated with Bollywood Dance Studio to performed a Cultural Fashion Show during RCI 2020 Lunar New Year Celebration event on Jan. 18th, 2020  RCI Dance Fitness Class is running by session, each session contains 20 weekly classes. In March 2021, RCI opened a 12-weeks dance session that covers various dance styles, such as ballet, Chinese traditional dance, contemporary, etc. by teaching a dance routine on top of the dance fitness session.  In the future, RCI fitness dance class will continue to focus on helping people to improve their physical health and promote the Asian fashion culture to the local community.
