You are invited to RCI Chinese New Year Celebration 2019

On Feburary 2nd, 2019, Redleaf Cultural Integration will host it’s 5th Chinese New Year Celebration at Burlington Glad Tidings Church. We are expecting more than 300 guests and artists come join us to celebrate this one of the most important Chinese holiday. 

This event starts at 13:30 with one hour culture exhibition in the church lobby, which includes:

– Family fun area, Chinese traditional children toys and games will provided for the whole family to have some fun. 

– Chinese calligraphy show, our senior calligrapher will present their master pieces and also write for people as request, such as words and your Chinese name (certain fee will be charged)

– RCI seniors activities introduction and knitting club sale. All of the sale proceeds will be used to make afghans for caner patient through Wellwood Warm Hope Program

– Redleaf Choir group introduction. With the professional training, Redleaf Choir has conducted a few community performances and received very positive feedback. 

– Sponsors corner. This event can’t be successful without our local business support. They also prepared gifts for the guest, please stop by!

– Silent auction. No need to say any more, we appreciate the local business’s support again. The auction winners will be announced after the performance. 

– Photo booth. A large holiday back drop is setup for your family and friends to take the pictures . Our professional photographer will also help you to keep the wonderful memories.

At 2:30, the performances by diversity artists will start on the stage. We specifically invite Ukraine, Indian and Persian local artists come join us on the stage to share their talents.
