In March, 2018 RCI organized 3 seniors health related seminars. They are:
– Healthy Heart Health You, by Marlene Peitch, Heart and Stroke Foundation
– Speaking of Bone, by Lisa Campbell, Osteoporosis Canada
– Someone You Know Has Dementia, by Ana Nunes-Freitas and Edward, Acclaim Health Alzheimer Services
Totally there were over 150 people attended all of the 3 seminars. These seminars gave our seniors more information about how to identify the symptoms, the available testing methodology, how to prevent the decease happen or slow down it, how to take care the loved one who has it and where to ask for help.
From the survey RCI did, the satisfaction rate is over 90% for each seminars. Seniors asked for more health topic related seminar to be organized.
