Redleaf Taichi Class started in September 2021. We have invited Master Zhigang Yan, the 12th generation heir of Chen Style Taichi to teach the class.
Taijiquan practice is based on learning and practicing the basic skills of Taijiquan, such as winding silk skills, pile skills and practicing waist and legs. It is supplemented by learning and practicing Taijiquan routines. The master led the door, and the practice was on the individual. The routines learned and practiced in this Taijiquan class include Chen-style Taijiquan Old Frame One (74 styles). It takes about a year to learn the complete routine of Chen-style Taijiquan all the way.
This Taijiquan class adopts a phased learning and practice method. The learning and practice phases are divided into three months, six months and one year, and they progress gradually. Participants can flexibly choose the most suitable method of participation according to their personal schedule.
Yan Zhigang-Chinese martial arts 7th stage, learned martial arts since childhood, graduated from Shanghai Institute of Physical Education, PhD in Traditional Chinese Physical Education (Martial Arts). Chen's Taijiquan's disciple, Chen Zhenglei, is the twelfth generation of Chen's Taijiquan. At the same time, he has studied traditional martial arts such as Wuxing Tongbei Boxing, and has monographs. He has been teaching Taichi in Canada since 1988.
